"Day case admission for my 8 year old son to have teeth removed"

At the beginning of April 2021 my 8 year old son was admitted to the Outwood Ward at East Surrey Hospital for a day case admission to have several teeth removed. Every single member of staff we encountered during our stay was wonderful and made my son and myself feel at ease for the entire time we were there. From the nurse who took us to and from theatre, to the nurse who got me a well needed cup of coffee after my son went to theatre, to the nurse who discharged us who explained that she had asked the theatre staff to provide some more pain relief as two children had come out of theatre distressed and in pain while we were waiting to go to theatre ourselves. Thank you to everyone who looked after us during our short visit, I wish I could remember your names but you made our visit go off without a hitch!
