"Opiate Addiction"

My life was utterly miserable and also frequently physically dangerous due to my addiction. I relocated, and engaged with CGL for help. From my first appointment i was made welcome, was listened to and understood, and most importantly wasn't judged in any way. A treatment plan was talked through and offered, amazingly quickly, and it was the correct plan for me. The pandemic limited the amount of meetings allowed, However Lisa, my keyworker, called me 3 times a week and kept an eye on me, I was truly grateful as i discovered that 'getting clean' is only part of the process, i needed guidance and help with my emotions and just generally readjusting to day to day life. The various group sessions offered, via zoom and in person, and especially Inertia and Dave's help and support massively helped me through a period when i literally felt lost.

I honestly dread to think where/what/if my life would be now without these guys.
