Our son was waiting for surgery on a faulty valve caused by the strong chemo and radiotherapy he underwent at aged 13 when he was discovered to have Hodgkin's lymphoma, very luckily caught in time for him to survive.
He was called in on a cancellation in mid-January 2013 and operated on the next day by Mr. Mediratta. There was also the added complication of an irregular heartbeat.
