"Pregnancy, Birth and post natal care"

My first pregnancy was made a lot easier with the care I received throughout being pregnant, my experience at the maternity hospital and post natal care. My community midwifes Caroline and Theresa were friendly and reassuring throughout and always available to answer any questions. I got induced at AMH and each midwife I encountered was just amazing. I had 2 teams of midwifes - both had a student and I felt so looked after and safe throughout.

The plan was always clear, I knew my options I was supported to do what I wanted to do. Sophie and Ellie got me through the first half of labour with smiles, reassurance, and good chat! Anna and Hannah took over and were just as amazing and helped me deliver. All the staff on the wards after were also fab - especially the health care support workers who helped me get used to feeding my son at all hours and were so kind and supportive with me when I was struggling and upset.

I had a great experience the whole way through at AMH. My post natal care is ongoing and is just as great; even with the limitations of COVID I still feel very supported and looked after at home with help available when I need it.
