If you are reading this and considering registering at this GP I would highly recommend trying other options. The booking system they have in place at the moment is both moronic and wildly inefficient. ‘Emergency appointments’ are what you need to book if you want to see someone sooner than in 3 weeks. We have an accident and emergency system in place for emergency medical issues which leaves it highly unlikely that any of these appointments are ‘emergencies’. If you do try to book one of these appointments then block out at least 30 minutes of your day. 15 minutes spent trying to call with the line being busy and then another 15 when you do get through and are number 8 in the queue. Then when you finally do get called by a doctor it feels like the ‘practice’ isn’t trying to practice any medicine but rather palm you off to other NHS services or do anything but see you in person. If you find a doctor that can effectively diagnose a skin infection over the phone then let me know. I appreciate that we are in the middle of a global pandemic but I find it hard to empathise with the staff when they show little to no empathy in the first instance. As I say, save yourself a lot of time and head banging and register somewhere else.

Good morning,

I am sorry to learn of your experience, our phone lines are extremely busy and we are continually try to increase the phone lines with the provider to resolve the wait times, this has been raised again
