My mum was admitted on Mother’s Day to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley with a suspected stroke (since confirmed) from the acute ward to ward 4 as now.
My mum and I are very close and I’ve been very emotional as this is her second stroke. Every staff member has been so caring and empathetic towards mum and even me. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to all of them for their care and dedication for what must be doubly hard work for all of them at the moment due to COVID-19.
A special thank you to Charge Nurse Tracy for her understanding and I have to say ‘thorough’ as she’d asked if I had ‘power of attorney‘ for mum as I am estranged from my brother and she totally understood.
Once again thank you to all NHS workers.
"Every staff member has been so caring and empathetic"
