I developed cellulitis in my foot + had to come in to get a blister drained and receive treatment.
I went on 22.3.21
Every staff member I encountered in the unit on this morning/afternoon were nothing short of amazing.
So kind, professional, skilled and that attitude didn't waver as the hours went on.
Surprisingly during Covid pandemic time, I encountered more staff than I had expected.
From the lady on reception with her cheerful voice, the male nurse who was weighing patients, the lady who took my bloods, did the ECG (for another issue), cleaned & cut (so gently + skillfully) my blister and dressed it and the lady Dr in maroon scrubs who was so nice. Very thorough, gentle, friendly and helpful and last but not least the nurses who handed out sandwiches & teas/coffees to the patients free of charge.
I wish I knew names so I could get them recognised for their patient service.
Thank you Ambulatory Care Unit. You as a whole team are second to none.
