I was admitted to Gilwern Ward as a day case on 17th March 2021. I can honestly say that as soon as I stepped onto the ward my welcome was warm and professional. The ward was relaxed and chilled and ALL staff were attentive, compassionate, respectful and showed dignity. They were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much. ALL the surgical staff too were lovely. They made me feel really relaxed and at ease and again were very attentive.
