"She made a real impression on me"

About: Highly Specialist Services / Eating disorder service

(as a service user),

When I was in day service I learnt a lot from one of the nurses there. I always felt as though this nurse really cared about what was happening and cared about what the world is like and wanted to make it a better more fair place. One day she took the time to sit with me when I was really distressed and was struggling a lot. She told me it was ok to be angry sometimes. She made a real impression she made on me and this has stayed with me. Something reminded me of this today and the way it helped me and has continued to help me so thought I would say thank you.

Dear Runningmy95

Thankyou so much for taking the time to provide this really helpful feedback. I forwarded your feedback to the staff Team. The fact that your feedback was very specific about the Nurse who told you 'sometimes its OK not to feel OK and to feel angry from time to time', was very powerful.. It may seem a simple thing but it obviously made an impression on you and we are really glad we could help and that you took the time to let us all know. It really helps with morale at a time like this when services are under strain

Thankyou so much for sharing this with us
