"1st Covid Vaccination"

Had my first vaccine - the O-AZ - mid March at the Ulster Hospital.  After an initial short wait the nurse who administered the vaccine was very pleasant, efficient and helpful.  She gave me her first name and we greeted one another before sitting me down to the final paperwork before the injection.

All in all it was a straightforward procedure, marred slightly only by the roadworks and building going on around the complex which caused a little confusion with parking.  

Everyone within the building seemed to know their job and what they were doing, including security and queuing,  while maintaining a very pleasant approach to everyone and any queries.  Once inside the building, it was quite clear where you had to be, while maintaining 2m social distancing.   A young student nurse kept the seating area wiped down after each person moved off for their jab, although she did get a little confused as to whose turn it was next at one stage, but those waiting kept her straight!

I felt fine after the vaccination, but the next day, about 17 hours later,  a headache developed and some aches and pains.  I went to bed for the afternoon and started to feel better during the evening, although not very hungry.  The next day, back to my usual self.
