"Baby with bronchiolitis"

(as a parent/guardian),

I was admitted to ward 20 with my 3 month year old this was a stressful time for me and was a bit of trial and error at times with her oxygen and feeding issues. I felt that it was so overwhelming with the change over of staff and been told different things by different nurses however I do feel very grateful one nurse went out of her way to take time to listen to my concerns and showed me total empathy and care. She also helped me relay this back to the doctors and consultants I think she is such a credit to the ward and I am so so thankful for all her help. I wanted to say you are a great nurse elaine and I totally appreciate everything you did for me and my daughter at our stay at the hospital

Also just wanted  to say a massive thank you to one of the student nurses Rachel you showed amazing qualities and will be a fantastic nurse one day keep being you ❤

Dear Nikole13,

Thanks so much for taking the time to get in touch with us and for the amazing compliments for staff at Paediatrics, Ward 20 here at University Hospital Wishaw. I will make sure this is forwarded to the staff there so they know how thankful you are of their care and time.

I can imagine it must have been really stressful for you and your family, with such a young baby being in hospital and I'm glad nursing staff made this time easier for you. I hope you and your baby are doing well.

Thanks again - much appreciated.

Laura

HI NIkole,

Many thanks for taking the time to share you experience in Ward 20. This must have been a very worrying time for you. This feedback helps us improve the care that we provide within the unit and is very important to us.

I will ensure this is shared with nursing staff within the unit and and that Rachel is made aware of your kind words and encouragement.

Kind Regards

Carrie
