My partner phoned 999 after I had said I had a tightening in my chest followed by feeling very unwell and agitated..the first paramedic said it was probably a stomach problem. ao phoned an ambulance to take me to crosshouse. on the way there..the lady paramedic said she wasn't happy with the first ECG I had with the first paramedic.. so stopped the ambulance and did another. where she then said she was redirecting us to hairmyers hospital. as my "heart was unhappy"..I still am didn't know it was a heart attack until I was rushed to surgery where the surgeon told me I was a lucky lady as I had 30 seconds to live. his words. so thank god to the second paramedic who noticed something was really wrong.. dont remember her name but she saved my life. my stay in the hospital when I was referred back to crosshouse was second to none.. looked after me in the high care ward like a member of their own family.. they where brilliant. Thanks very much to all of their staff and nurses
"Major heart attack"
