Anything else?
I had a hysterectomy on 9th january and was admitted to ward F4. All my care healthwise i cannot fault at all- the staff on this ward go above and beyond their vare of duty i must say. the massive problem with this ward is the fact that it has a 24hour emergency clinic situated slap bang in the middle of the ward?! Why? when people like myself are trying to recover and rest after major surgery there are emergencies being rushed through the ward literally past the end of your bed into the clinic. this is a problem day or night as this poses risk of infection surely! norovirus is rife at the moment and these emergency persons have friends and relatives and even children with them when brought in! its absolutely crazy to have this going on a ward! The staff from F4 are constantly being harrassed by relatives of these people and one man was being aggressive wanting his wife to queue jump so much so he was threatened with security- this was about midnight when i was trying to sleep! even drugged up on morphine etc sleep on this ward was a literally an impossibility. i was so tired and worn out when i came home as i had hardly any sleep whilst on that ward! i will be complaining in writing once i feel able to walk to post the letter! ridiculous!
