"Treated with care and consideration"

I went in for a hysteroscopy and biopsy.

From the moment I was let into the hospital, through the preliminary checks and questions, to the procedure itself and the recovery process, I was treated with care and consideration by all the staff involved. They were all friendly, helpful, efficient and professional.

I have a needle phobia so Meghan, the nurse who initially dealt with me, put a numbing cream on the backs of my hands so I wouldn't feel the canula. Adam, the main anaesthetist, Nicky, the gynaecologist, and the theatre nurse all explained the various elements of the procedure. And Bartek, the other anaesthetist, put up with my excruciating attempts at Polish!

I was offered refreshements as soon as I came round, and was well looked after in recovery.
