About: Maternity care (Ward 31) / Labour suite maternity Maternity care (Ward 31) / Maternity care (Ward 31) Royal Alexandra Hospital / Maternity care (Ward 31)

(as a service user),

I have today been discharged by the blue team midwives.

The care I received throughout pregnancy, during labour and while at home with my son was second to none. Everyone I came across was extremely approachable, professional and made me feel safe.

I ended up needing to be induced and was fortunate enough to be looked after by my community midwife Holly after giving birth, this gave me some continuity of care.

I will be forever greatful to Holly, Victoria, Guilia, Leanne and student midwife Abbie for keeping me and my son safe through my pregnancy, during delivery and for the care we have received after. As a health care worker myself I am aware of the pressure these girls are under but they honestly provided seamless care and for that I am eternally thankful! 

Overall I had a great experience with my care and IF I have anymore children I would feel safe in the knowledge that these professionals were looking after me.
