"Excellent experience at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham"

I had been called in to Cardiology device clinic and have just returned feeling reassured about safety and cleanliness in addition to excellent service at Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham. Whilst there I browsed info screens and was shocked to see that there were over 4800 missed appointments last week. Prior to my appointment I had been concerned about entering a hospital environment, however, my experience put me completely at ease. The whole environment is well controlled with robust social distancing in place. The reception staff were welcoming and offered clear guidance on following procedure. The medical practitioner, whose name might be Fay, clearly explained why I had been called in and provided information about what   needed to be checked on my pacemaker. Everything was thoroughly checked and there will be follow up monitoring. As a result of my experience I want to share how safe I felt entering the Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham and attending outpatient Cardiology clinic and to encourage everyone offered an appointment to attend.
