I have lived at White Willows for six years, I am on my own and liked the Bingo and the Friday coffee mornings. Since Covid I find things boring because I can't meet other residents, sometimes me meet in the corridor because we are both out doing things. I also miss having my family in, my two sons visiting me. I am mobile, I was happy going out on the bus but Covid has stopped this for me at the moment.  

I enjoy the special birthday parties t in the downstairs room and really enjoyed the 10th Anniversary party a couple of years ago that went on all day and evening including a disco.  Since Covid we have had two visits from the string trio when they played on each floor and we listened to them from our doors.

Thanks you for the feedback that you left on Care Opinion, its really nice to hear which events and activities make a difference at White Willows and it’s good to know that the String Trio who have come to play to our customers over recent months has been a success too.

We are a year into the pandemic and we are aware that the last 12 months of Government restrictions have been a long, difficult and frustrating time for you and many of our customers.

We do appreciate the efforts that you and our other customers have gone to, to help keep yourselves and your neighbours safe during this time. This has been no small feat and everyone has made significant sacrifices along the way.

Throughout the last 12 months we have followed the Governments guidance and will continue to do so. We have recently provided all customers with guidance on the Government road map and what this means for White Willows.

Thank you for your patience and we really look forward to things returning to some form of normality soon.
