I disclosed to my gp that I had recently seen the crisis team, where it had been discussed that due to the nature of my panic attacks it could beneficial to discuss a PRN medication.
I was patronisingly met with "you just need to find coping mechanism because diazepam isn't a treatment".
As someone who recently has gone through a stressful psychological event where police and ambulance had to be involved it would be beneficial if the care providers actually made you feel like they care instead of dismissing personal knowledge and belittling people's struggles.
