Being missed out twice as being clinically vulnerable and not receiving shielding letters.
I am clinically vulnerable due to having a blood cancer (Non Hodgkins Lymphoma), a heart condition and high blood pressure. During this pandemic I have also suffered from anxiety and depression which I am being medicated for. Despite my poor medical history I feel I have been, somehow lost in the system. Too date I have not received any notification for influenza vaccination. During both shielding periods I have not received any letters from the Chief Medical Officer regarding shielding or guidance and finally I will more than likely be overlooked for the Covid vaccination should I require it. I feel lost, I have searched online for answers, I have phoned hot line numbers for guidance and have contacted my GP surgery by phone and my email without getting anywhere. I feel totally let down by the health service in Scotland.
