"A quick visit to the Children Ward"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Paediatric Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

We had to make a visit to Dr Gray’s after a referral from the GP. The staff were absolutely wonderful and really looked after our little one and made her feel safe. The Play Leader made sure we had drinks and that she had something to do and have her a Lego kit, which she is absolutely delighted with. The Doctor and the Nurses all made sure that she knew what was happening and really looked after her. She had blood tests taken which she was a bit apprehensive about but she was made to feel safe so there wasn’t any issues.

Thankfully we didn’t have to stay very long but would like to say thank you to everyone there.

Hi Ashortvisit,

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am glad to hear that your daughter didn't have to stay long in the ward and hope she is on the mend now.

The staff in the children's ward make a real effort to make children feel safe and cared for so its fantastic to hear that you and your daughter had such a positive experience. I will make sure that I pass on your feedback to the team in the ward and they will be delighted to hear your thanks.

Thanks again.

Caroline
