"Palliative Care Outreach Service."

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Palliative Care and Hospice

(as a service user),

I would like to commend the staff from the Queen Margaret Hospital, Palliative Outreach Team for the amazing service they provided my dad and my family at such a difficult time.

Every single member of staff that visited were not only caring and considerate with my dad, but also to us as a family.

This is such a valuable service, especially during the pandemic, as we were lucky enough to be able to get our dad home for end of life care.

If he had stayed in the hospital, we would be unable to visit and may not have got to spend his last moments with him.

I hope that this service is able to continue even beyond Covid, as it has allowed us to have precious time with our loved one.

Thank you to each and everyone of you for helping make this possible, you truly are angels.

Dear Michelle and Olivia,

I honestly couldn’t have gone without acknowledging the team, as they certainly made a very sad, stressful and upsetting period of time, so much easier, allowing us to have what we can only describe as the most precious time with our loved one.

I absolutely take my hat off to each and every one of the amazing team.

Thank you again
