I was admitted to Birmingham qe by ambulance from new cross hospital with Hydrocephalus, I was put on a ward but went into cardiac arrest when I went to loo , the doctors there where brill , 1 doctor was going home and noticed I wasn't where i should of been so got someone to check on me ,, that is when they found me on loo floor in cardiac arrest, the doctor had a shunt in my head in 30 seconds ,, there was other doctors there that must of had a hard job as they phoned my family to say they didn't think I was going to make it and to say bye to me or if I come round I might be brain dead ,, I did come round next day and remembered family names so 3 days after went in theatre to have a brain tumour removed which is the cause of the fluid to my head, I was in hospital for 2 weeks and was really looked after as I couldn't do a lot when I awoke , such a brill hospital and doctors if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here now and be able to type this message to you ,, I wish I new more about what happened to me as you can appreciate doctors help ect a lot more ,, I cant remember much that happened but people have told me including doctors staff and family ,, brilliant doctors and staff to all the departments , wards I had to stay on ,, can i say a big THANK YOU X
