"Fantastic Service - Breast Screening"

About: Wycombe Hospital

I was referred by my doctor to the breast screening unit at Wycombe hospital. I didn't really know what to expect on my arrival but I was seen on time and taken for a mammogram, then an ultrasound scan followed by an examination by a consultant.

All the staff I saw were so friendly and put me at ease. I was originally advised I should expect to be at the hospital for 3-4 hours but everything ran so efficiently I was finished in just over an hour. I cannot fault the service I received and it was so reassuring to walk out of the hospital having been told the results and not having to wait for them to arrive in the post at a later date.

I found the unit a bit tricky to find as you have to walk behind the main building and up the hill on what looks like a service road - maybe instructions could be added to the website.

Dear Madam

Thank you for taking the time to share your very positive experience at Wycombe Hospital. We are delighted to hear that you so are happy with the care you received from our dedicated staff at what may have been a difficult and sensitive time for you.

Please be assured your lovely words of praise, as well as your suggestion to add instructions to find the unit, will be passed on to the team for their attention.

Once again many thanks for your kind feedback; comments such as yours are always gratefully received.
