"Lockdown"

About: Wathwood Hospital

(as the patient),

Since lockdown started there has been less activities going on in the hospital, especially not been able to use the gym. This has left a lot of patients feeling a bit fed up. However the OT's have put a lot of effort into on ward activities which has helped a lot. also for myself my music has played a big part in keeping me busy, I have been able to write so many songs and record them which I have really enjoyed doing

HI,

I totally understand that you all must be so frustrated about the things not been the same and that you cannot get off the ward to attend different areas of the hospital.

we are hoping with the vaccines been rolled out across the hospital for staff and patients that we will soon be in a safer position to try resume some activity.

I hope you can use the TED staff to access some activity and you utilise them to try relieve your boredom. Well done for writing your songs. keep it up and we will look forward to hearing them when we can all meet up

stay safe

Adele

Hi

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience during lockdown.

Providing a service during COVID has many challenges but all staff at Wathwood are working really hard to maintain as much activity as possible.

It is great to hear that you have found the OT activities helpful - I hope that you will continue to work with the team and progress your rehabilitation.

Your feedback has been shared with the team which they really appreciated, thank you.

Kirsty

Hi

Thank you for taking time to send your feedback. looking at the responses it is good to know what you have said has been responded to and already your posting shared with the Staff team At Wathwood.

I do know it is very hard for everyone with Covid around but I do know Staff are doing all they can to support the Patients with activities when possible, Like Adele says with the Vaccines now coming in hopefully at some point relatively soon we can all get back to some kind of normality.

Keep the Music coming, it is a great way to pass the time.

Thanks again for the posting
