"Audiology"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as a service user),

After a sudden and first ever attack of Labyrinthitis I lost all hearing in one ear and attended the ENT Casualty Clinic after an urgent referral from my GP. The team were really professional and put me at ease and stopped me falling over with the vertigo! The department felt really COVID safe and clean. I returned today for a hearing test....again great staff, kind and understanding and explained things to me. Its a bit worrying - not sure whether my hearing will return so need to wait and see the outcome. But thanks Audiology team - you were fab.
