I would like to put on record the fantastic care and attention from the eye Clinic staff and the Day Care Surgery unit .

I underwent complicated and intricate MOHs Surgery and Eye reconstruction a week ago at Hairmyres University Hospital. Firstly my thanks to Dr Nabili for his expert surgery and his time taken to explain and encourage me to face up to this operation . He is assisted by the fantastic Nurse Lindsay who not only manages the eye clinic with great personal Care but assisted in the operation and my post op medical care and has put me at ease at every appointment before during and after Surgery. I would also like to thank in particular 2 Nurses Ann and Ashleigh. On the day of my operation even with all the restrictions of a Covid Red operation both Nurses went to exceptional lengths to support me before and after the operation and this one to one care and support in the recovery room is vital and I thank Ashleigh in particular helping me recover. 

Hairmyres has it faults but it's staff during all my Pre Assement Covid restricted appointments have  put me at ease especially due to the isolation felt of all these new Covid rules and during my long recovery period where support and encouragement is vital .

So a massive thanks to all the Staff involved at Hairmyres , Pre Assesment , Eye Clinic & Surgery Unit you are all doing a wonderful job in difficult times and please be aware it is fully appreciated.

I am please to hear that you have received excellent care from the Pre Assessment, Eye Clinic and Day Surgery Unit. I am glad that Dr Nabili was able to reassure you and I will pass on your kind comments about him. I will also pass on your kind comments to nurses Lindsay, Ann and Ashleigh who will be delighted to hear the.

Staff work very hard to ensure high standards of care are delivered and I am pleased to hear that you found your pre and post operative care to be supportive and helpful towards your recovery.

I hope that you are now recovering well at home after your surgery.
