"All were superb and very professional"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended Monklands A@E today after a fall. From entering the front door at reception. I barely was in the seat when I was called through by the triage nurse who was called Sharon. once examined I was then taken to a cubicle where I was put onto a bed then they put neck blocks on to protect me incase I hurt my neck. All the nurses and doctors where superb and very professional going about there job and explained everything to me what was going to happen to me throughout my stay which was very clear to me. I would like to thank all the staff for there help today especially during this pandemic. cannot praise them enough and once again thankyou very much for looking after me till I was allowed to go home.

Dear Bird man

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent experience at A&E in Monklands Hospital. I am pleased to hear that you felt that staff were professional and that you were kept well informed as to what was happening to you while in the unit.

I will pass on your thanks to Sharon and the unit manager who will be delighted to hear your comments.

I hope you are recovering well from your fall.

kind regards
