About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

Rang endoscopy department in a panic about a Covid test pre treatment. Answering service excellent, keeping me up to date frequently as to where I was in the queue. Got through, very efficient and full answer to my query, thereby stopping my anxiety. A silly question, treated with care, concern and empathy.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us - please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you on here. I was really pleased to read about how the Endoscopy team were able to answer your query, thus stopping your anxiety. I know how stressful it must be coming into hospital without the added pressure of a global pandemic so I was glad to see they treated in a caring and empathetic way.
