"Signs for the Centre and car park"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Vaccination Centre

(as the patient),

Everything about the vaccination itself went well.

I feel more signs should have been placed in the car parks to let patients know that the location of the COVID Vaccine Centre - and its car park - were up the hill and round the bend. I parked in car park 2 and it took me 5 minutes to walk to the Centre. The weather was dry but very cold and windy. It would have been very unpleasant if it had been raining.

There was only a sign for the Centre when you were half-way there. There had been no mention of a car park there. Was this park free? I paid £1. 80 to park my car.

Thank-you for taking the time to share about you experience at the vaccination centre. I am glad to hear about the positive experience you had with the vaccination. It is a reflection of our dedicated teams hard work to ensure our service is safe, effective and carried out in a professional manner. I apologise for any confusion with the signage to the free carpark, this is currently under investigation. Kind regards

Hi Layla2016,

I wanted to update you on behalf of the Covid Vaccine Centre about the issue you posted about lack of signage on the Ulster Hospital site.

I am pleased to say that as a direct result of your story and a few others commenting on the same issue that we have now placed more signage around the site directing to both the Vaccine Centre and also the allocated parking for those attending for their vaccine. I have included some images of the signs below which are placed at each entrance to the site as well as on the routes around the hospital site.

Thank you again for leaving your feedback on this issue and we hope as a result those attending the centre will find their way easier when attending.

Regards,

Richard
