"Coronavirus vaccination"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Vaccination Centre

(as the patient),

I attended the ulster hospital for my vaccination. The signage wasn't ideal and it took a bit of time to get to the centre after parking the car. The sign said something like 'staff vaccinations' and as I was not staff I didn't know if that was correct for me. Also there was nothing clearly marked at I walked out of the multi storey car park. Although busy, the staff seemed to be very efficient in dealing with the queues at the vaccination centre. They took a lot of time explaining everything and as I'm at risk of allergic reaction they kept me afterwards for observation past the end of the clinic which I really appreciated.

Thank-you for taking the time to share about your experience at the vaccination centre. I am glad to hear about the positive experience you had with ourselves. It is a reflection of our dedicated teams hard work to ensure our service is safe, effective and carried out in a professional and caring manner. We have now refreshed our signage due to the centre now being open to the public. Apologies for any inconvience caused at the time.

Kind regards,

Maggie Magowan

Hi yellowtj56,

I wanted to update you on behalf of the Covid Vaccine Centre about the issue you posted about lack of signage on the Ulster Hospital site.

I am pleased to say that as a direct result of your story and a few others commenting on the same issue that we have now placed more signage around the site directing to both the Vaccine Centre and also the allocated parking for those attending for their vaccine. I have included some images of the signs below which are placed at each entrance to the site as well as on the routes around the hospital site.

Thank you again for leaving your feedback on this issue and we hope as a result those attending the centre will find their way easier when attending.

Regards,

Richard
