"Dr Kuhen & Associates (really unprofessional)"

About: Canterbury Health Centre

Just for the record, Dr Kuhen & Associates is one of practice at this address. I have never received such a consistent bad treatment from a GP. Canterbury Health Centre has more than one practice and the practice I am talking about is name Dr Kuhen & Associates. This practice manages to lose my prescription. On Friday 8 Jan I hand them a prescription with a notice urgent on it coming from

Kent & Canterbury Hospital, the staff told me my prescription should be ready the same day at boot pharmacy at 5 pm. I went there at that time to collect my medication only to find out that nothing was done and the practice was already close at that time. I have to wait for the following Monday to call them back and try to find out why my prescription was not done. After several explanations, I was finally allowed to speak to a doctor who obviously didn't know what I was talking about as she talking about something else. She wasn't aware of any letter from

Kent & Canterbury Hospital directed to her, and I have to explain and almost convince her of what I was talking. They finally manage to find the letter I personally hand them the previous Friday and try to downplay it by telling me how busy they were on that Friday. I saw how busy they were talking to each other at the reception with the phone ringing and no one dares to pick it up, I know as I was the one calling and I was at the door watching them. I rang the door belt more than once before finally, someone answers me. They were really busy.

This is not the first time I encounter bad service by this GP as they are sometimes really rude over the phone but I was hoping it will change. This time is just the most unprofessional service I receive from a health centre organisation.

I try to find this practice on the NHS website to leave my review under their name but they don't exist under that name, letters I receive from them has the name Dr Kuhen & Associates.

please avoid this GP as for me I started the process to change GP.

I am sorry that you feel the service provided was unsatisfactory, and also for the delay in responding to this post. Unfortunately we were not informed of this posting until 10th February! I have raised this with NHS Digital for an explanation.

I would be grateful if you would make contact with me so that I can discuss your issues and hopefully achieve a resolution.

Save for this I cannot make any comment, as your posting is anonymous so I have no clue as to your identity and therefore cannot investigate further. I can however state that we are, and have always been, open during our contractual hours between 08:00 & 18:30 Monday to Friday so I am therefore concerned that you said the practice was closed at 17:00. Perhaps you could let me know how you tried to make contact?

May I once again apologies for the perceived bad service and invite you once more to make contact with me.

Paul Earnshaw

Practice Manager
