Last night I completed the "foundation of change" course offered by Change Grow Live Cambridgeshire.

I found the course very useful and have come out of the course felling very positive and now armed with many coupling techniques. With the help of the course, I am now abstinent from alcohol for over 100 days and feeling great.

The course ran over an 8-week period and all the sessions were hosted online via Zoom. Personally, I found watching other people in the group making progress recovering from their addictions very motivating and gave me the motivation to make other change in my life for the better.

Our intervention worker Eliie was excellent, she is a lovely person and very approachable. She also has the patients of a saint.

I would recommend this to anyone in the area who wanted help getting sober.

Ellie is great, I agree with that. I love what you said about watching other people in the group make progress and how that spurred you on. This is why groups work. We know that sometimes people are reluctant to go to groups but once they do they have a very different view.

Recovery is contagious!
