About: Causeway Hospital / Surgical 2

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Causeway Hospital on New Years Eve suffering from gallbladder problems

The condition was diagnosed as Mirizzi Syndrome . I was admitted to Surgical 2 where I was treated with great care and respect and kept informed at all times as to the progression of my treatment. My consultant surgeon was exceptional in that he got a specialist surgeon to do the procedure, the nursing throughout has been exemplary from the trainer nurses to the Ward Sister.

Always available always ready to listen and totally professional. As this is my third time in hospital in sixty seven years I can only say the standards are way above that which anyone might expect.

Thank you surgeons and thank you Surgical 2.

Dear Robert 123,

My name is Deborah Dyson and I am the Ward Sister in Surgical 2.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback about your recent admission to Surgical 2.

I was overjoyed to read that you had such a positive experience. We have a fantastic team here in Surgical 2. The staff endeavour to provide patients with a high standard of care and it is great to hear that they continue to do so even in such challenging times.

I will share this with the whole team, it will mean so much to them.

Wishing you well on your onward recovery.

Debbie and The Team
