About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Trauma & Orthopaedics (Wards 1 & 5)

(as a service user),

I was in extreme pain, but all the staff that cared for me during my experience here at this Hospital were outstanding & they couldn’t be more helpful. They made me feel at ease which helped as I was anxious & nervous about getting the surgery. I Can’t thank them all enough & truly appreciate everything they did for me & even though there is a pandemic going on they never let that stop them doing a fantastic job & cared for me & others to their best abilities.

We recognise that people are often anxious when attending for a procedure and staff work really hard to provide clear information and help allay any fears or anxieties people may have; it sounds like you have had a positive experience.
