The receptionist took my details and symptoms and said I would receive a phone consultation with a doctor that same morning. On hearing my details the doctor arranged for me to come to the surgery the following day and was then seen at my appointment time . The doctor carried out a diagnosis in a very professional manner and fully explained the treatment I would require.Hopefully a hospital appointment can be arranged ASAP but in these trying times I’m not holding my breath.As a parent of a GP I know lots of things are out of there control.
