I would like to give a huge thank you to the midwives and staff at Wishaw hospital for the care I received during the birth of my little girl.
Karen and Sharon (the midwives part of the Blantyre Best start team) were exceptional in their care of me and baby. Karen was my community midwife and was there at the beginning of my labour , before handing over to Sharon. I honestly can say I could not have got through it without either of them, especially Sharon who delivered my daughter. I was scared and unprepared and I felt like they went above and beyond their care of duty towards me , Paula also assisted at the end of labour for delivery, thanks to her also.
Postnatally, special thanks to Mary who helped with me each night she was on while I stayed, to help with my feeding plan as Maisie was struggling to be breastfed.
Alison from the breast feeding team also went above and beyond with her care of me , to help with feeding at the the hospital and also advice for home.
Thanks to all involved again. Myself, my partner and my baby daughter are very grateful.
