About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Xrays and Scans

(as a relative),

I recently took my younger sister for a procedure at Endoscopy level F at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. This was her first experience of being in hospital for any sort of treatment so she was extremely nervous and upset. The staff on the ward from the moment we arrived were fantastic and gave such caring attention to my sister. A special mention has to go to Cherrie the receptionist and both Nurses Siobhan, Jane & Andrea who made sure she was supported and knew what was happening every step of the way. When we picked her up after her procedure she was calm and proud that she had got through it and that was down to an amazing team. Thank you!

We understand that people can be anxious and worried about coming into hospital for a procedure. Therefore, it is reassuring to hear about the care and attention your Sister received from the staff. I’m glad that your Sister felt calm and proud after the procedure, and I am certain that the staff will be delighted to hear this and will appreciate you taking the time to thank them.
