What I liked
Efficiency and Friendliness of staff
What could be improved
Only speeding up the discharge process, on being told one can go home by Consultants, there seems and endless wait for the 'Discharge Summary' which eventually I asked to be posted on to me.
Anything else?
Admitted for a further catheter ablation - all of the members of staff I encountered from the Consultants down the whole 'care chain' impressed me, I was listened too, laughed with, given all the information I asked for. The staff , certainly in Cardiology and in particular Cardiac Day Patients Unit work extremely well as a team and it shows! Needless to say though, you get back from folk what you put it and sometimes accept that 'you' are not the sole focus - others also have needs and sometimes more pressing ones.
