"Excellent treatment and care"

Cannot praise this department enough for the care and treatment they've given me over the last few years.

There has always been someone to advise/reassure/ and update me on what is happening with my progressive condition and treatment needed etc, often is great detal and nothing seems any trouble to them for me.

After being admitted as an emergency early last year and being told i didn't need further surgery then the team have constantly monitored me and decided that due to my current ongoing state i would need it now so got a call to go for a procedure at a months notice, i was very apprehensive but put at ease by reassuring calls from the team and on the day i was very nervous but from the moment i walked in the door the entire nursing staff/ cardiologists etc were great, very reassuring and always treating me with respect and dignity.

The procedure and it's ins and outs and benefits were explained in great detail beforehand by the cardiologist and he was constantly informing me of what he was doing while performing the surgery

The after care i received was excellent too and i am very confident and trustworthy that the people working in this department know what is best for me and treat me as an individual rather than just another patient.

It makes my dealing with my condition a lot easier knowing i've got a great team backing me up.
