"The care is second to none"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / High dependency unit

(as a relative),

My husband is a patient in the above hospital as he is suffering from Covid Pneumonia, and he has been in for nearly a week. I am writing this to thank the doctors, nurses, physios and all the other staff who have been looking after him. The medical and personal care he is receiving is second to none and I have received a phone call every day either from a doctor of nurse to keep me informed on how he is doing, care that is above and beyond. As we can’t visit at this time because of Covid, these phone calls mean everything to me and my family and I just can’t praise the staff enough, especially knowing how busy they are every day.

Thank you Wigan Infirmary, you are doing a wonderful job.
