"Hospial staff"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / General Medicine ( wards G North, G South, J North, J South & L South)

(as the patient),

This is my fourth time being admitted to this hospital and I have been during my stays in different wards and departments even Recuss  I am writing to praise every member of staff from cleaners to highest-graded. I do not know how they are coping under the circumstances and often told them that and  the Consultants too especially ward J North admittance ward.

Only upsetting incident I had during my last stay was in J North was from an staff member who had nursed me at some point during my previous stays and I had no problem with, but for some reason this time was saying negative things about me to anyone who would listen. I spoke to a more senior member of staff and made them aware of what I was overhearing. They were amazed but spoke to the nurses that were on at the time. I believe this person has the ability to be a very good nurse, I even told them this. My hope is that they will not continue with this attitude. I just hope they will take heed of this feedback. 

Again my thanks to all, I have nothing but praise to them all.

Thank God for them all working through these terrible times.

Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to post your lovely comments about the majority of staff you met during your recent admissions to Inverclyde Royal Hospital, which they were delighted to receive. It was heartening for them to hear your appreciation of their hard work, especially with all the challenges COVID-19 has brought us.

We were, however, very concerned that you overhead a member of staff making negative comments about you and, on behalf of the service would like to offer you our sincere apologies for the upset this has caused you.
