Mum moved to sheltered housing during the pandemic to be nearer to us. I have had a lot of contact with the Auchinairn GP practice to register , get her meds delivered and enquire about her flu vaccination. Everyone is always helpful and friendly no matter how often I phone.
The other week mum had a fall and wasn't discovered till the next morning. Initially we thought she may have had a TIA and the surgery recommended calling an ambulance, Unfortunately ambulance services were very stretched that day and after 4 hours and another triage we were advised to put mum to bed and call the GP next morning.
When I spoke to Dr White he was so reassuring and really actively listended to us. Over the next few days he called back and spoke to mum and my sister and my BIL. We all wish he was our GP.
I am sure Dr White and his colleagues are busier than ever and I would just like to say thanks to him for his understanding and kindness.
