My Best Life supported me when I moved out of the marital home. I have health issues and mental health issues.  My GP and mental health team referred me to My Best Life. MBL  put me in touch with the Salvation Army to help me get food parcels and helped me find volunteering opportunities to help me get out of the house and meet people but because of Covid this is not happening at the moment. Volunteering would help with my mental health.  MBL have helped me improve me mobility in my bungalow by getting the hospital Occupational Therapist to come and assess me and give me  mobility aids. MBL have helped me fill forms in e.g. with a heating allowance claim, Council Tax, pension forms. She made me feel like a friend of hers rather than just another Client by treating me with kindness and respect.  She explained forms and made me feel at ease, she made life easier.  I would highly recommend this service and I hope others take it up. I need to give other people a go, I will apply again if I can and if I need to.
