"enhanced care team covering south ayrshire"

update to my last story is 5 weeks ago my 95 year old mother suffered a very bad chest infection and made her nearly bedridden, this team arrived called an ict unit about my mothers needs, our doctor got the carers involved to come to her 4 times a day because of her needs, they are excellent by the way but then this other unit arrived again and literally forced my mum to stand up so they could assess her mobility, she managed to ease herself to the edge of her chair as she was put into the lounge by the carers who managed to bring her through the short distance, once she attempted to get to the edge she had her hands in her head suffering because of her copd, once I got involved she managed up and through to her bedroom so these people could assess whether she needs two carers to help her get washed and change her incontinence pads, this wasnt to assess her needs it was to assess whether she needed two carers to help her.  I did manage to get a back support for mums bed as shes confined to bed 18 hours a day, they promise us a lot over the phone but never live up to their promises.
