"Silver cloud"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a carer),

This is the second time I've done SilverCloud online CBT to help with my Aniexty which flared up again last year when Covid-19, and the first lockdown started. My son's mental health, and when he was having melt down's didn't help with my Anxiety, and my husband having to shield, because of poor health. Doing Silver cloud really helped by using the Journal and mood monitor, worry tree etc, and with the help of my supporter doing her reviews. I hope my story will help others.

Dear Nettie 18,

Thank you for sharing how you found our online therapy programme 'SilverCloud.' Many clients do not realise that we offer online therapy so your insight as to how you found it will help many others who may be interested in this form of support.

I think it is important to acknowledge that this is the second time you had completed SilverCloud. Firstly, thank you for returning to the service when you needed additional support, it is perfectly normal to want further therapy if we feel that extra support could help us. Secondly, you explain how much you were going through, including your son and your husband's own difficulties, and it sounds as though SilverCloud was the right option again to provide you with the space to look after your own well-being.

You have mentioned some of the techniques that you found helpful, such as the journal, mood monitor and worry tree, these are techniques that you can continue using whenever you need them. As you know, you also have access to your online therapy for a year from the date that you signed up! I wish you the very best of luck with continuing your progress independently now.

As your supporter on SilverCloud, I am so pleased to read that you found the fortnightly reviews helpful. You should be so incredibly proud of all of the time you have dedicated to your therapy, I have no doubts that you will be able to continue your progress.

Your story will certainly help others to learn about the different forms of therapy that we offer here at Inclusion and what to expect from our online programme. Thank you again.

Take care.

Kindest regards,

Jade
