"Creative remedies"

About: Change Grow Live / Pathways to Recovery - Warrington

(as a service user),

I attended both of the music groups on Thursday and Friday for over 2 years, we formed a band called the recoverists and had some amazing times, it was our world and we all loved it, being in that band and being in recovery was the best thing I've ever done in my life! ! ! Sadly our lead guitarist and facilitator relapsed he's now back in recovery and doing really well... we all want creative remedies to put this back on once this pandemic is over, it would be an asset to addicts in recovery! ! I think you're all aware of who's sending you this? Many thanks 🙏🏻

Good morning and thank you for your feedback!

Creative remedies are one of our partners who work alongside Pathways to expand the offer for our service users to get involved in all sort of other activities that can help people grow and develop skills in their recovery journeys. I can remember well some of your gigs at the recovery café and on the Cheshire Recovery Walks!

We can certainly discuss with Creative Remedies the proposal of re-introducing the weekly music groups once the pandemic is over and we are allowed to see our lovely people face to face again!:-)

I will share this feedback with the Creative Remedies team and see if we can work together to come up with a plan to restart face to face activities such as the music group as soon as we can. I hope this will help you to be able to re-connect with some of the people who were part of your band, and to encourage new members to join.

If you would like to contact me directly at the service with your contact details, I can let you know the outcome of the discussion we have with the Creative Remedies team. Thanks again for your feedback and the best of luck in your continued journey, I hope we can all come and see your band jamming again soon!

That would be wonderful! I will keep you posted on progress for discussions for re-opening face to face groups such as the music group as soon as I am able to. Obviously, as we are currently in a national lockdown, these plans wont be starting any time soon, but as soon as I know when we will be able to re-introduce face to face groups, I will give you a call with an update. Thanks once again for your feedback, it is really appreciated:-)
