"My stay in hospital over Christmas"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Ward 9

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Ward 9 in the Ulster hospital for a week over Christmas, the care I received was outstanding from the doctors to the nurses on the ward along with staff in A& E, ultrasound and different departments,   nothing was ever a hassle to them. A special mention to Nicole and Jill who looked after me for most of my stay. On Christmas Day the staff kept everyone’s spirts high and made sure we enjoyed the day to the best we could. In the hospital durning Covid I felt safe and that the standard of care provided remained high.

@Virgo20

Thank you for your kind words, it is difficult for anyone to be in hospital, particularly over Christmas and mid-Covid. I am glad to hear the staff on the ward made your stay more comfortable, I have forwarded your kind comments on to Nicole and Jill, as well as other staff members. It is great to hear that you felt safe, with the Covid precautions we have in place, our aim is to try and keep everyone as safe as possible, whilst providing the required care. I trust you are now recovering well at home and enjoyed a postponed Christmas with family.

Many thanks
