"Lack of attention from the pharmacy "

About: Clementine Churchill Hospital

I visited Clementine Churchill Hospital in December 2020 and was prescribed medication by the Consultant that I saw. When it came to collecting the medication, I asked the lady behind the counter if this medication needed to be kept in the fridge and she specifically said no. Unfortunately this was nearly two weeks ago and the medication has not been kept in the fridge since and I have only just noticed the label as I took this lady’s word for it.

Another time I went for my medication and was told that the invoice for my medication would be sent to my address despite me being an NHS patient, luckily I was able to dispute this and informed them that I was not a private patient on this occasion. The pharmacy should be aware of this as the hospital is now also seeing NHS patients.

I am sadly disappointed with the pharmacy on these two separate occasions.
