Following a text notification of a positive covid test I was phoned by someone claiming to be from Test and Protect Scotland.
This was from a Private Number
The text had said it would be from 0800 number
The person stressed that they were not medically trained.
I told them my history
They decided that although I was coughing constantly my cough was discounted as I said my asthma sometimes makes me cough
My vomiting over past week was discounted as not a recognised symptom
Therefor recorded as asymptomatic which I strongly disagreed with
I had already phoned gp to request medication for my cough
"Test and Protect Scotland"
