For so long we have lived with COVID and I guess we never thought it would affect us until last night when my daughter spiked a temperature. At first it was denial- try to find another cause but then reality hits that she needed tested. It was reassuring to be able to book the appointment last night and to be able to plan for today. The only comment is the website is not user friendly- so much unnecessary detail which didn’t answer all my questions.
We arrived at the test centre and it was extremely well organised and calm; I expected chaos but the young staff have measured, simple and direct guidelines. I think it is incredibly creative to use the hazard lights on the car to draw attention to the staff and the whole process, although uncomfortable for my daughter, was well organised. My daughter is eight and even for her she found the experience less scary than she expected and she was happy I could do it for her
